TV Spots, Screensaver Among Marketing Efforts

Filed under: VMI News — Chips Lanier at 09:35 on 14 February 2006 —

The VMI Alumni Association, in an agreement with Roanoke station WSLS-TV (NBC), has begun airing television advertising in a pilot marketing program, one of many marketing initiatives planned this year.

The six ads produced by the VMI Office of Communications & Marketing for the Alumni Association are designed to reinforce the Institute’s cadet recruitment efforts and to enhance the VMI public image. The commercial spots began airing at different times in the program day beginning in late December 2005 and are scheduled to end after the NBC Winter Olympics coverage.
